Mother Nature was so kind to us! As you all remember, our Utah spring did not arrive until almost June, so when March 11, turned out to be the most gorgeous day we had all year (up to that point, of course) I was ecstatic! Enjoy a small look in to the happiest (and WARMEST) day of Sara and Todd's life! Check out the beautiful black and white in front of SLC Temple with jet trail across the sky....a personal favorite of mine!

February fun.....I love winter, always have. Must be because I am a January baby....as a kid, my birthday wish would be for snow! Although snow is beautiful, it sure makes it hard for outdoor photos. It is always a challenge it find good indoor areas. As you will see in this post, I LOVE Trolley Square! Very vintage, meets modern. I am always looking for new and FREE indoor spots, so please feel free to share your great locations! Enjoy........


Happy Valentine's Day...from 9 month old Quincy! I love my one year package clients....it is so much fun watching them grow from newborns to toddlers! Enjoy Quincy's Valentine themed 9 month pictures, taken at Trolley Square.

I am extremely behind in blogging, so I have decided to do us all a favor and do monthly posts until I get caught up. At this rate, I should be caught up by November ;0).

Hadley is 3 months old! I can't get over how big she is getting! Wish we lived closer, to watch her grow! Stay tuned for her 6 month pictures.....even cuter!!



The ADORABLE Moore family, my amazing in-laws. Another perk to being a photographer, capturing timeless memories for my family. Plus, they are so cute....they make it really easy! I love the picture of Ethan and Isaac running....little balls of energy! And let's not forget beautiful little Hadley, she is getting so big!



Little miss Julia is 6 months old! I just love all the faces little kids make! My Faces collages are becoming my signature collage for toddler pictures! Most of these funny faces make me laugh out loud when I am editing! Little miss Julia is no exception....I dare you to pick your favorite funny face.......can't do it, me either, that is why there are four!



My favorite family and their new addition! Meet BeAuTiFuL Sienna! The newest member to the Hood family. Sienna was the newborn all photographers wish for! She didn't cry, fuss or even fall asleep (even though the sleeping pictures are soooo cute). Love the picture of Big sister, Ava and little sister, Sienna. These days they are best friends and look-a-likes!

Exciting news.....

I have exciting news.....(some of you already know) but for those of you that don't.....I am now a FULL TIME PHOTOGRAPHER! I am only working part-time at my day job, and I couldn't be happier with my decision! Big thank you to my hubster for encouraging me to follow my dreams....now if only I can convince him that my dreams need to be followed while living in NEW YORK CITY.......Stay tuned for more posts, more often!

Just can't get enough of the Great Salt Lake....Either can the Fletcher Family. Perfect day at the lake! Just look at that blue sky and clarity of that water! Beautiful family= Beautiful pictures!

The Cooper Family......meet Shawnee, Bryan and children! Cutest little faces...I just want to pinch their cheeks! Another great perk to being a photographer, even when I'm working, it hardly feels like work!
Felix, Erica and baby Q(uincy).....Family portraits in downtown SLC. Check out the vintage Air Jordans (didn't even know they made Nike's that small!) We always enjoy taking pictures of this adorable family.


Rasmussen Family fun at the Great Salt Lake. Meet Melanie and Jason and Kids (Melanie and I are friends from way back). Perfect way to spend an October afternoon.....good friends, lots of laughter and special moments recorded in the form of portraits!
The Cunningham family....I must say my favorite part of being a photographer is meeting people and becoming a part of their lives. I look forward to every November, when I get to shoot this adorable family! The adorable, little, blue-eyed boy, is Jack. I have had the pleasure of taking portraits of Jack since he was a newborn! I love to see how much he has grown and changed every year! I found his smile weakness this time......CANDY. All I had to do was flash a sucker his way, and he was all smiles! Can't wait for their Fall 2011 session!

Haley and Kenzie.....two beautiful women. Love the pictures with the peacoats...love the pictures with the purple plaid...LOVE the hat! We shot these on a raining/snowing December day at the Cathedral of the Madeline! Beautiful architecture, good company and young love....perfect combination!
My favorite family......The Hood family. You might recognize cute little Corbin from his cake covered one year pictures. I just adore this cute little family. I met Elisa, the mom, at my day job, about 5 years ago. At the time she was married, happy and content. Fast-forward five years, she now has THREE adorable children (I know one is missing....can you believe she is actually pregnant when we took these.....baby bump where????) I love it when kids make me earn their smiles. At one point, we just let these kiddos run all over the Great Salt Lake, and I (by I, I mean ERIK...;) ran circles around them to capture those smiles!

Meet Nettie and her BeaUtiful daughters! Can you guess who is the mom???? I had so much fun with these wild ladies in Downtown SLC last November. They were up for anything, and just let me run wild with ideas! So many good shots, I had a hard time choosing which ones to post! Enjoy a few of my favs :)
